Position Opening - Sales Executive

KorTerra is currently hiring a sales executive who will be responsible for the development and implementation of individual sales plans to support KorTerra sales goals. The Sales Executive position involves identifying and qualifying prospects in specific target markets, consultative sales to promote KorTerra’s products and services, and follow-up activities to insure customer satisfaction. This person will also work closely with the internal KorTerra team for joint account planning.

Typical account management activities include:

  • Nationwide prospecting of potential clients
  • Updating key contact information (e.g. email, mail and phone information.
  • Identifying and communicating risk positions for existing clients and new prospects to KorTerra management.
  • Regular contact with existing clients for new product announcements and offerings, release updates etc.
  • Participation in regional and national industry tradeshows and activities.
  • Updating and presenting personal sales plans quarterly.
  • Acting as a client advocate.
  • Being the primary channel of communications between KorTerra and the client.
  • Weekly sales reporting.
  • Preparing for and attending weekly sales and other scheduled meetings.
  • Completing Sales Closing Plans for each prospect.
  • Communicating with KorTerra management personal needs (e.g. sales training, sales support tools, etc.) to improve performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in cold calling and phone prospecting.
  • Excellent time management skills; coordinating appointments and efficiently structuring daily activities.
  • Experienced in complete account management. This includes: scheduling implementation and training, managing expectations, contract renewal, resolving accounts receivables issues and addressing/alleviating client concerns.
  • Experience in giving presentations.
  • Experience working all levels within an organization including: Operations, Director, IT, C-Level and Executive VP’s.
  • Experience with a ‘complex’ sale.
  • Software sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field.
