New Internet Ticket Query Module Added to KorTerra Product Suite

Minneapolis, MN – August 28th, 2003 – KorTerra announced a new module for its product suite today. The Internet Ticket Query module is a web-based application that is an add-on module to the KorTerra Product Suite.

Internet Ticket Query is a web-based application that allows external or internal customers of locating operations to view the status of tickets that belong to them. The module is a real-time reporting tool showing how and when locates are being completed. Another added benefit to the Internet Ticket Query module is that management has real-time information to check the status of their operations via a web browser without having to access the full KorTerra application running on their desktop.

“Adding Internet Ticket Query (ITQ) to our suite of products is very exciting,” said Jeff Law, Product Manager, “Being able to offer ITQ to our customers allows them to communicate the status of tickets via an easy to use web interface. It allows KorTerra’s customers to show their internal or external customers how efficiently their tickets are being completed. In addition, ITQ acts as a positive response function in that it displays detailed locate information in an easily accessible format for excavators and utilities to view.”

The Internet Query tool has the ability to create two separate reports which contain valuable locate information. The Ticket Report shows comprehensive ticket history. The Operation Report shows ticket status by member code - how many tickets are outstanding, projects, completed, or late.
