Position Summary
KorTerra seeks a professional with a passion for sales, or someone new to sales who is eager to learn, and ready to roll up their sleeves.  This position will have a nationwide territory to call into, and plenty of inbound leads to work.  The primary goal of this position is to convert prospects into users of our software applications.  The Sales Representative will be compensated on their own booked revenue, as well as any referred revenue to outside sales. 

Sales Representative Duties:

• Maintain and develop existing and new customers, mainly through phone interaction.
• Provide online demonstrations of KorTerra’s web-based products to potential clients.
• Respond to and follow up with sales leads through a set sales process, within a specified time period.
• Plan and prioritize personal sales activities with customers and prospects to move toward achieving sales goals - managing personal time and productivity is key.
• Plan and manage a personal business territory according to an agreed market development strategy.
• Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
• Aid in development, execution and success measurement of marketing activities according to budgets and timelines; integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.

Must Have Requirements:
1. Solid technology skills (Office, Internet Research)
2. Great comfort with cold-calling along with inbound sales leads
3. Extremely self-motivated, capable of achieving set goals in an independent work environment
4. Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:
1. Familiarity with utility industry
2. Inside sales experience
3. Software sales experience
