KorTerra ASP Services
KorTerra, Inc. offers Application Service Provider (ASP) services to all KorTerra customers. Through the KorTerra ASP services, the full KorTerra product suite is hosted by KorTerra on their servers with customer access to the application via the internet. Under the standard ASP model, KorTerra manages and maintains servers, performs necessary backups and monitors all computers that are located at our data center. KorTerra will also manage all communication lines needed to receive One Call locate requests from the One Call Centers for our clients (e.g. modems, phone lines, email, etc.).
The ASP data center is located in a bunker building, protected to prevent and withstand a multitude of disasters. KorTerra customers utilizing the ASP service have “peace of mind” that their computing environment is secure.
Backup processes and procedures include:
- Nightly backups of all servers
- All backups rotated off site daily
- Redundant hardware configuration
The ASP services KorTerra provides give KorTerra the responsibility of managing and maintaining the computing environment for the customer. This allows KorTerra customers to focus on their core business. This ASP model will not only benefit KorTerra clients from an efficiency standpoint, but will prove to be a huge costs savings and provide them with peace of mind.
