KorTerra C/S Billing

The KorTerra™ Billing module was created for contract locating organizations to generate timely and accurate billing of locates to their clients. KorTerra Billing can be configured to automatically create and generate billing detail for each ticket or any event that needs to be billed.

The KorTerra Billing System:

• Real-Time, Accurate Billing Generation - KorTerra Billing provides precise billing without manual intervention. Within the KorTerra System, all ticket data is maintained electronically. As tickets are being completed, billing information is captured and computed in real-time.
• No Lost Revenue - In KorTerra, no tickets are lost, which ensures that every ticket is billed – NO LOST REVENUE!
• Accurate Billing - The automated system eliminates data-entry errors and can be configured with a variety of validations to ensure that billing information is entered correctly.

How KorTerra Billing works:

• Highly Flexible and Configurable Billing Engine - Because each organization has different billing rules, terms, and requirements; the simple, flexible configuration is a critical component to KorTerra Billing. It allows organizations to configure KorTerra Billing in accordance with their needs. Some of the different configurations include:
  • Time and Material Billing - Capturing both Time and Material per unit and the ability to bill both work types on a single locate.
  • Tiered Pricing - KorTerra Billing has the ability to calculate tiered pricing. This means the system automatically calculates discounted rates for multiple party locates.
  • Unlimited Billing Types - Organizations using KorTerra Billing can create and use an unlimited number of billing codes.
• Eliminate Data-Entry - Data-entry is eliminated when KorTerra Billing is used in conjunction with KorTerra™ Mobile. As a locator performs a completion in the field, the completion information is used to generate the billing. Billing information is automatically pulled from completion information without requiring office staff to manually re-enter the information.
• Real-Time Billing Generation - KorTerra Billing processes completion information in the background, meaning office staff are not waiting for billing information to be generated. It happens in real-time as the ticket completion information flows into the system from the field. This eliminates the time required to perform billing runs and generate invoices.
• Export Billing Data - All KorTerra Billing information can be exported to 3rd party accounting systems. This export functionality can be automated so that accounts receivables do not have to be entered into the accounting system manually.
• Billing Reports - KorTerra Billing offers several key reports that allow management to view timely billing status and locator billing performance.
