KorTerra Mobile works as an extension to the KorTerra® Dispatch module to bring tickets and information to the field allowing locators to have the most accurate and up-to-date information available. Ticket Receiving and Dispatch with KorTerra Mobile:
- Automatically Assign and Send Tickets to Field- Tickets are received from the One Call Center into KorTerra Dispatch. KorTerra automatically assigns the tickets to a locator and then they are sent out to the appropriate locator in the field to begin working.
- Real-Time Emergency Notification - Locators using KorTerra Mobile are notified in real-time of emergencies. To ensure all emergencies sent to the field receive appropriate attention, KorTerra requires an acknowledgement from the field for all emergencies. All emergencies are handled properly and quickly without getting lost.
- Balance Workloads - Dispatchers are able to balance workloads electronically which keeps locators locating and focused on their job without a physical meet for exchanging paper tickets. This increases productivity and because it occurs electronically in the system, tickets are not misplaced or lost.
