Minneapolis, MN – July 31st, 2003 – KorTerra announced today its 4th Annual KorTerra User Conference Dates; it will be held September 10th through September 12th. This year’s event will be held at local meeting and convention center in Excelsior, MN – a suburb of Minneapolis, MN. The event is comprised of a golf outing, kick-off happy hour reception, 1 ½ days of conference sessions and a dinner cruise on Lake Minnetonka.

The Annual User’s Conference gives KorTerra’s customers a chance to introduce themselves to one another and share success stories, tips, and advice about the software. A large part of the conference is comprised of sessions devoted to learning about new features, functionalities, and enhancements. New to the conference last year were roundtable sessions, sessions that allow users to meet the KorTerra technical team and discuss specific topics of interest in a small group setting. The roundtables were very positive last year and have been added as a permanent fixture on the User Conference agenda. The outcomes of the conference sessions are directly connected to the new version releases and enhanced software functionality.

KorTerra also uses the conference to promote education about different tools and technologies that can be utilized in the damage prevention industry. The conference will also include two educational presentations. This year, Panasonic and Comstar have accepted invitations to be guest presenters. Panasonic will teach attendees more about rugged computers and bringing technology to the field. Comstar will educate the attendees about GPS and AVL technologies.

“With our customer base increasing, each year our User Conference improves with the growing number of attendees. The more ideas and brainstorming sessions we have with the users, the better we can make our product fit the needs of the industry“, said Chris Stendal, President, “We are looking forward to a fun and productive event this year.”
