KorTerra Creates New Website for Gopher State One Call
Minneapolis, MN – May 10th, 2010 – KorTerra is excited to announce the launch of Gopher State One Call’s a new website! Launched in May 2010, the new www.gopherstateonecall.org has been completely redesigned to enhance communication between Gopher State One Call and its site visitors. KorTerra created the new look and functional layout for Gopher State One Call, along with now providing hosting services and ongoing content generation for their new site. Web development and marketing is another web service set KorTerra provides along with their standard software products and services.

Gopher State One Call’s website receives a considerable amount of traffic from many different user types. GSOC wanted to make sure its website is easy to navigate for all visitors, while responding to the varying needs of its users. What was the new site’s number one goal? Make it simpler. This was accomplished through an easy to navigate layout, designed to enhance two-way communication between Gopher State One Call and site visitors.
The site is now divided into three portals for the three different user types to enter: excavators, homeowners and utilities. Each group has their own entrance to the new website, with content specific to their group. Common actions that were pre-defined for each user group are now featured in large buttons on the front page. Information has been sorted into intuitive categories, enabling users to find the material they are searching for more easily and quickly.

Aimee Wendland, marketing coordinator for KorTerra also acted as project manager for the new Gopher State One Call site.
