KorTerra to Speak at the 2011 Minnesota Office of Pipeline Safety Educational Conference
Minneapolis, MN – March 30th, 2011 – KorTerra has been selected as a speaker at the upcoming 2011 Minnesota Office of Pipeline Safety Educational Conference. Taking place April 12 – 14 at the Breezy Point Resort, the educational conference will feature general sessions and breakout sessions in which attendees can participate. There are three different tracks that can be followed, based on the attendee’s area of interest. A variety of topics from the Damage Prevention, Natural Gas Distribution and Transmission, and Hazardous Liquid Pipeline fields will be covered.
Brad Johnson, a KorTerra sales executive, will be speaking at the event. Brad will be providing a Q&A and Round Table forum, where members and participants can discuss how the UCC (Utility Coordinating Committee) approach to damage prevention awareness has worked for their respective companies. In addition, the panel members in this session will discuss the process for hosting Excavator Education meetings and outreach events for the local excavating communities. Attendees will learn about what technology is being used by the UCC groups, as well as share ideas about measuring effectiveness and meeting various regulatory requirements.
In addition to speaking at the event, KorTerra will also participate as an exhibitor and a sponsor of the Vendor Hospitality evening, which takes place on Tuesday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. A variety of vendors will be in attendance, providing information about the exciting new safety products and latest in damage prevention industry technology. Exhibits will be open all day Tuesday, and close at 3:00PM on Wednesday afternoon.
