FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

KorTerra’s Jeff Law Appointed CGA Technology Committee Co-Chair

Minneapolis, MN – November 23rd, 2011 – KorTerra participates in many damage prevention industry events, groups and activities to maintain an awareness of industry issues.  One such group, the Common Ground Alliance (CGA) Technology Committee, has enabled KorTerra an up close view of the issues faced today by One Call Centers, utilities, pipelines, locators and others involved in damage prevention.  The mission of the Technology Committee is to seek, identify and communicate technologies and practices that improve the utility damage prevention process.  This aligns with KorTerra’s focus on providing damage prevention applications to industry stakeholders.

Leaders across the industry attend the quarterly technology committee meetings held by the CGA.  KorTerra’s Vice President of Operations, Jeff Law, has been an active participant in developing initiatives within the technology committee, and was appointed on November 1, 2011 as a committee co-chair at the past meeting in Phoenix, AZ.  “I am honored to be able to contribute to the technology committee,” says Law.  “The Committee’s current project, a damage prevention technology directory, will provide a great service to all involved in damage prevention.  It will join damage prevention technologies with the DIRT reporting tool and CGA’s Best Practices.”

KorTerra values the opportunity to work with many industry leaders involved in the CGA Technology Committee, and realizes the importance of providing services and solutions to help the industry at large.  For more information on the CGA Technology Committee, and to learn how to join, click here.
