Texas Excavation Safety System and KorTerra Announce Partnership to Offer KorWeb Services FREE to Members

Minneapolis, MN – June 7th, 2007 – Texas Excavation Safety System (DIG TESS) and KorTerra are pleased to announce their partnership to provide KorWeb at no cost to the members of DIG TESS. The success of KorTerra’s web-based one call ticket management service, KorWeb, has led to this partnership and will enhance the safety and efficiency of locating for the members of DIG TESS.

KorWeb is the most comprehensive one call ticket management software application and is entirely web-based. Therefore, no software is installed on the client computer; all that is needed is an Internet browser. DIG TESS members can access their one call tickets via KorWeb anywhere, anytime they can access the Internet. There is no setup, or ongoing maintenance and support fees. Setup is simple and KorTerra takes care of the whole process for the member, so they can receive their locate tickets in KorWeb within 24 hours.

“KorWeb allows DIG TESS to provide the latest communications technology, such as FTP reception of one-call tickets, to all of its members at no additional cost to the members. FTP is absolutely the safest way to receive tickets. KorWeb will also help the members comply with the new rules & regulations being implemented in Texas by the Railroad Commission as well as save them time and money in the field,” said Lee Marrs, DIG TESS President. “KorTerra’s KorWeb system was designed using many of the tools and techniques we used to develop GeoCall, our one-call platform. KorTerra is a natural partner in TESS’ ongoing effort to improve service and value for our members.”
