KorTerra Announces Major Enhancements to Claims Management System
Minneapolis, MN – February 28th, 2005 – The KorTerra® Claims Management System has helped organizations track damage claims for many years. Recently KorTerra has added expanded functionality to the Claims Management System to track other types of claims such as: property loss, personal injury/workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, and damage claims all in one robust system that records details about each incident.
Through the electronic tracking of all the claims information, organizations have easy and quick access to the different information without thumbing through reams of paper. The Claims Management system allows organizations to capture detailed information, documents, photos, and video files for each claim. The system walks users through the claim tracking process from initial investigation through completion. It is also easily maintained and is highly configurable to track as much information as required, based on each organization’s needs.

These reports can be used as management tools in detail and in summary to easily show the status of an organization’s claims. The reports and detailed information found in the system can be used to identify problem areas such as specific employees, vehicles, equipment, etc. Collecting accurate, complete information over time will allow management to perform trend analysis to identify and correct problem areas. The goal being that through trend identification, problem areas are corrected and the number of claims lowered.
