ESRI Integration

KorTerra’s One Call ticket management systems integrate with ESRI (or any other GIS mapping platform) to create a facility map that pinpoints your company’s underground assets in relation to dig sites or One Call Center dig boxes. The mapping system also shows standard map information such as cities, county lines and street names, so you can see where your facilities are in comparison to those locations.  Integrating GIS data with One Call ticket management and locating processes is a great way to further leverage your ESRI investment and save your organization time and locating dollars.

Ticket screening can be performed by combining the One Call locate request and ESRI map data, allowing dispatchers or locators to clear any facilities that are a safe distance away from dig sites.  This potentially saves a trip to the locate site, which in turn saves your organization money!

Ticket dispatching enables dispatchers to visually find locates on an ESRI map, making it easy to see the entire landscape of locates for a selected time period.  All ticket locations are pinpointed on the ESRI map, and can be selected to perform an action on, such as sending or transferring a ticket. 

Integrating ESRI maps and KorTerra Mobile Client allows locators in the field to continue their locating activities with or without an internet connection.  ESRI data is stored on KorTerra Mobile Client, and locators with this application can see their ESRI facility map, even if they have lost their internet connection.  Locators can also sort tickets by noting the order they would like to complete them in on their ESRI map, and can also complete the locates through this system.

Ticket search is used by dispatchers to zoom in on a selected map area and view how many locate tickets are there.  This allows them to see how many excavations were performed in that area and who was performing them.  It can also be used to research the damages that occurred in a specific area, and research who has been excavating there if a damage occurs.
