Current Opportunities

Senior Software Engineer
Experienced Software Engineer with experience working within Agile teams to build high-quality cloud-first solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in analytics, machine learning, and data science.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
You will be working with people whose passion for creating outstanding software matches yours. As a member of the Product Development and Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for building the underlying architecture upon which the KorTerra software suite is built, including database access, Machine Learning component integration and APIs, and data mart design/modeling development and integration. Responsibilities include the following:
- Develop high quality software and systems that are secure, multi-tenant, highly scalable, and rock solid
- Take part in design and technical discussions with multiple teams to tackle new features and resolve software problems that arise
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers
- Help with software deployments and troubleshooting outside of normal hours as needed
- Collaborate with a team of software developers, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Product Manager
- Directly responsible for contributing to the success of the KorTerra product and the overall organization
- Advance our software to the next level of quality by implementing and creating products that work in a web-based, multi-tenant, secure cloud environment
Qualifications
- Competency in .NET development (C# preferred) and/or React
- Experience with any or all of the following technologies: Azure, Azure SQL, Cosmos, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker
- Developing RESTful services
- Developing with source control management tools such as Git and Bitbucket
- Developing in a team environment using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Writing professional, documented, and tested code
- Strong analytical and collaborative mindset
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years developing software

Implementation Project Analyst
We are currently seeking a customer-centric, energetic, and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Implementation Project Analyst at KorTerra. This individual is responsible for giving new and existing customers a world class experience as they begin or expand their relationship with KorTerra. The Implementation Project Analyst will work with customers, sales representatives, and support technicians to understand and deliver timely solutions that best fit the customer’s needs. This individual is a great communicator, a customer advocate, and possesses an understanding of both our software and the industry to guide customers towards the best possible solution during the implementation phase.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with customers to identify their needs and come up with creative solutions to solve them.
- Assisting customers on the setup, configuration, and use of the KorTerra software suite.
- Coordinate large rollout of new features across a wide footprint.
- Communicating with Developers, CloudOps and DevOps on highly technical issues and situations.
- Translating complex technical issues and situations to non-technical individuals.
- Perform database queries, assist on-premise customers with installation of software patches, and provide technical expertise.
- Troubleshooting a wide variety of technical issues.
- Assisting and/or performing installation and integration into existing on-premise customer infrastructure.
- Log and track support issues through resolution.
- Provide online training and product demonstrations.
Requirements
- Technical degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Strong verbal, writing, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service attitude.
- Ability to identify problems and actively seek solutions.
- Ability to multi-task and superior problem solving skills is essential.

Support Analyst I
KorTerra, a software provider in Chanhassen, MN, is currently seeking a highly motivated IT professional to assist our clients nationwide on the use of our product suite. Qualified candidates must possess excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of computers and a desire to expand their software, database, web, and overall technical expertise. We offer the opportunity to learn a variety of IT skills, and considerably grow your technical skill set. We will train the successful candidate to work with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, .NET applications, iOS/Android mobile applications, VMWare, cutting edge mapping/GPS technology, and more.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assisting clients on daily support issues via phone or email. Clients range from typical end-user to IT manager of a large company.
- Assisting clients on the setup, configuration, and use of the KorTerra software suite.
- Perform database queries, install software patches, and provide technical expertise.
- Troubleshooting a wide variety of technical issues.
- Performing full system installation and integration into existing client infrastructure.
- Log and track support issues through resolution.
- Deliver progress reports to management staff and customers.
- Assist in the testing of KorTerra applications.
- Provide online training and product demonstrations.
